Welcome to the website of The Friends of Devonport Park charity, located in the ancient seaside port town of Plymouth on the south west coast of England. Created initially to assist in the funding application to restore the beautiful, historic, victorian-era Devonport Park, the charity today exists to manage the voluntary maintanence of the park and as a local community hub, running regular community events in the park and working alongside and with other local stakeholders to improve the park and local area for its’ inhabitants. You can discover more about the FoDP charity & its history by visiting our ABOUT page, whilst on our EVENTS page you can find out about our most recent events. If your fingers are tinted green, then of course head on over to our GARDENERS page where you can find out all about the volunteer gardeners and how you can help. Lastly, we have a page detailing other community projects and groups of many kinds, some affiliated with the FoDP and some not, but all local to the park. For more info go and have a peek at the BUSY-BEES page. Keep an eye out on this website for changes and exp[ansions to the website. Remember that we are a small group of volunteers with busy lives and we do all that we can to keep our website and social media avenues up to date. To keep the most up to date, join our Facebook group.
